Day 7. So where did the name PaperMonster come from? While in college I lived in a theme house called “La Casa Latina.” I had no studio and no real place to make art so I would spraypaint and make my paintings in the hallways of the dorm in front of other people’s rooms. One day while painting I heard a song with the lyrics “monstruo de papel” aka “paper monster” and BAMN!! I looked around at the mess I was making and there it was, my new name. Later, Faile @faileart would form the company @papermonsterart with the same name.
